1. Monitor for basic vaccinations

2. Exclusive breastfeeding
The exact definition of exclusive breastfeeding (breast milk) is breastfeeding to infants without any intake at the age of 0-6 months, unless there are certain things. Breast milk is the most beautiful gift given to the mother, to give her baby the first nutrients.
Breast milk, can be stimulated after childbirth by normal processes and surgery. If the condition of the mother and baby allows, apply Early Breastfeeding Initiation (IMD) so that your child gets the rich nutrients from breast milk. The content of nutrients in breast milk, can strengthen the body's immune system, support children's intelligence and strengthen the inner bonds of mother and child.
But, there are several conditions that cause mother's milk to not come out, so that requires your child to be given formula milk for a while. Don't give up! Immediately consult this matter to your doctor or ASI counselor.
3. Monitor your weight and development
You can use the monthly Posyandu program organized by the Government throughout Indonesia to monitor your child's growth and development. One way is to monitor weight gain (BB).
Make sure your little one's BB is not under the red line (BGM). This is because, your child can be indicated lack of nutrient intake. If this condition occurs more than 2 months, immediately take the child to the health center to get further action.
In addition, always monitor the development of the baby according to his age. You can read complete baby development indicators in the Maternal and Child Health Book (Pink Book). If there is a developmental lag, take your child to the Puskesmas for further examination.
